Judge Report Claude Ritter

It was a great pleasure to be invited a second time after my first judging in Valtice

in 1997.

A lot of good Friends were there, we had fun, joy and good feeling in a very short time.

After Ray, Barbara, Christine, Ruth, Stuart, Pedro, Jilly, Birgit, Woody, Ray, Eleonore, Richard, Didier, Mark, Ray and Jan, I had to do a good job in Valtice.

Everything was arranged by Show Committee, it was easy to travel from Basel to Prague, and we had a nice team for the trip from Prague Airport to Valtice and return.

We spent the Friday evening in a nice cellar, had good food, a lot of wine and fun with

Joachim and the people from Germany and Czech Republic.

25 O.E.S. were entered at the Clubshow on Saturday Morning, our ‘Driver team’ was

in the ring as Steward and Secretary, we had nice and warm weather, perfect conditions

for showing dogs and judging too.

In overview, a had almost very nice O.E.S. with good bone, correct and typical construction, good movement, out of 2 bitches the character were good, 5 males had

too clear eyes. A large part of this bitches and males had good coat whit correct crisp and color.

Ch Woody Woodstock von der Blue Zottel’s, a real Champion with lovely outline, nice construction and movement, very nice handled finished as Best male and BIS.

My Best Puppy, Oda May Modrý Kaňon, a young lady with an excellent movement, still finished in body was a typical good sized bitch.

My Best Junior, the bitch Naomi Blue Zottel’s Modrý Kaňon was by 15 month old my

Eyes catcher, she’s exactly what I love (size, outline, bone, expression and movement).

She was my favorite for BIS but, at the end, she didn’t moves properly.

Ch Athena Bambini Di Praga, a three and a half mid sized Champion bitch, with excellent bone, coat and construction gained Best Female.

The Special Show was judged by my Friend Danuše, our opinion about the showed dogs

was very close and she placed almost of classes in the same way.

A very special thank to all the Exhibitors, they were just Ladies and Gentlemen’s!!!!
